EIT Raw Minerals Baltic CLC visiting Department of Mining

EIT Raw Materials Baltic Sea CLC partner meeting in KTH, Stockholm, Sweden, 26.11.2015

EIT Raw Materials Baltic Sea CLC partners had meeting in KTH, Stockholm, Sweden. Previous partner meeting was in Helsinki and next meeting is in Tallinn.

Tallinn University of Technology was represented by associate professor Veiko Karu and professor Ingo Valgma.

Estonian mining research is focussed on oil shale, aggregate, peat and phosphate rock mining related topics. Additionally granite, shale, limestone mining, usage of mined out areas, water usage, environmental solutions, mining waste and social problems related to geotechnology are our interests.

We welcome cooperation in all related fields.
